We are looking for a driven Marketing Manager to collaborate with our product development and sales teams to identify new application areas for our lasers, analyse technical markets, and create digital marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for marketing analysis, product marketing, sales enablement, and brand management.
We are looking for problem-solvers to work with our customers and partners to gain a deep understanding of their needs - connecting the dots between lasers and application to deliver tailored solutions.
Work with the technical sales team and in-house SMEs to research and define application areas and customers that our products are suitable for.
Monitor the competitive landscape for the full Skylark Lasers product portfolio.
Generate compelling product and application content in line with our marketing strategy.
Create and execute digital campaigns across email, paid ads, and social media – including copywriting, design, content and asset creation, and campaign measurement.
Ensure all marketing material has accurate and up-to-date product information.
Create, update, and maintain product marketing materials including datasheets, product pages on the website and distributor channels, and third party product listings.
Coordinate our attendance at industry events including generation of exhibition materials, product marketing materials, event promotion, and sales enablement.
Create, update, and maintain sales enablement material including presentations, fact sheets, product imagery, and brochures for our in-house sales team and distribution partners.
Maintain our customer database.
Optimise the customer journey from prospect page to converted customer.
Support our distribution partners with their digital product marketing campaigns.
Work with the technical sales team to generate customer references and case studies.
Ensure consistent use of our brand identity across the organisation and support colleagues and external partners with materials creation and brand implementation where needed.
Ensure high quality output of all marketing and communication materials – focusing on brand consistency, messaging, and accuracy of information.
Keep embedded in the photonics and quantum-enablement community; maintaining an engaged digital presence across social channels and liaising with industry partners to publish thought leadership articles and PR opportunities.
Monitor digital campaign performance, recommending and implementing improvements where necessary.
Generate marketing performance reports.
Qualifications and experience
2+ years’ industry experience working in a marketing role
Marketing analytics experience
Experience of creating and executing digital campaigns
Experience with digital marketing tools
Excellent command of design tools such as Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Eligibility to work full time in the UK
Experience of sales and marketing in a technical industry
Experience of product marketing of a technical product
Experience of using Salesforce
