Job Description
As our team continues to grow, we’re looking for an Operations Manager to join our team based in Edinburgh. You will collaborate with our engineering, sales and operations teams to improve processes and procedures and support efficiency across departments. You will engage with our suppliers and customers, manage our facilities and be responsible for our stock management and logistics function. Responsibilities
Manage our stock management function, improving efficiency and ensuring correct procedures are maintained
Build relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and reliable deliveries
Coordinate our logistics department, ensuring correct processes are followed, regulatory documentation is completed, and deadlines are met
Collaborate with finance and engineering teams to optimize supply chain processes and inventory management
Collaborate with our finance team to identify cost-saving opportunities, and monitor cash-flow projections
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety standards across all locations.
Establish and uphold operational protocols to ensure consistent quality in both service and products.
Monitor compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications and experience
Requirements
A proven track record in administration/operations
Previous experience working in manufacturing
Highly proficient in MS Office
Ability to work to tight schedules and manage multiple projects
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and organisational skills
